From haunted tours to art shows, here are 11 awesome events to check out in Victoria this weekend.

Food | Victoria Poutine Week

Victoria Poutine Week wraps up this Sunday, October 22nd, having showcased some of Victoria’s finest restaurants throughout the week. Restaurants have partnered up with Mealshare to help those in need. Each poutine sold from one of the participating restaurants during this week will provide a meal to a child or youth in need in the local community.

Art | Artishow Victoria

Artishow Victoria takes place until Monday, October 30th, 2017. Take a gallery walk to some of Victoria’s finest hotels as they open their lobbies to some of the city’s most talented artists.

Casino | Progressive Fridays

Put all your Swipe2Win tickets in the draw barrel for the chance to win $1,500 in Free Play every Friday of the month. This takes place at View Royal Casino.

Tour | Ghostly Walks For Halloween

Dare to explore Victoria’s haunted past? Guests will go on a 90-minute walk through the dark and spooky streets, alleys and courtyards of Old Town and Chinatown. Tours take place from Friday, October 13th – Tuesday, October 31st, 2017. Four tours take each night at 6:30 p.m., 7:30 p.m., 8:30 p.m., and 9:30 p.m. Tickets start at $13.

Spooky | Victoria Ghostly Walks (Halloween Edition)

Ghostly Tours are available throughout the year, but now there is a special Halloween edition available. From Friday, October 13th – Tuesday, October 31st, 2017, you’ll hear stories of the ghost of Belle Adams who slit her boyfriend’s throat, a Jack-the Ripper-style murder, the ghost of the star-crossed Chinese lover, and many more. Tours are 90 minutes long, taking place at 6:30 p.m., 7:30 p.m., and 8:30 p.m.

Performance | VCO Concert

The Victoria Chamber Orchestra opens their 2017-18 season with a concert on Friday, October 20th, 2017. It takes place at First Church of Christ beginning at 8:00 p.m.

History | Patsy Cline

Dive into the life of one of the most influential female country singers of all time, Patsy Cline. The performance takes place at Teechamitsa Theatre and The Canadian College of Performing Arts this Friday, October 20th and Saturday, October 21st, 2017.

Pumpkins | Pumpkinfest at Galey Farms

Asides from picking out your own pumpkin, there is live entertainment, face painting, kids games, hay rides, train rides, corn maze, playground, petting farm, children’s haunted house, fantastic seasonal displays, and the new Cow Train! Galey Farms is open this year on weekends until Sunday, October 29th, 2017.

Show | The Cheesecake Burlesque Revue

Looking for something fun to do? The Cheesecake Burlesque Revue ensures to be a dark and stormy night full of flesh and fright. It takes place this weekend on Saturday, October 21st, 2017 at The University Centre Farquhar Auditorium. Tickets start at $24.

Toddlers | Museum Tots

Children ages 2-5 get to learn about the exciting world of museum learning. Parents can bring their children to learn a new theme every week. This week’s event takes place Saturday, October 14th at The Maritime Museum of BC from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Music | Live Music at the O Cafe and Bistro

Enjoy live music every Wednesday and Sunday night.
