Theatre | 33rd Victoria Fringe Festival

The biggest theatre event on Vancouver Island, the 33rd Annual Victoria Fringe Theatre festival runs from August 21 – September 1.

This festival features 47 shows from around the globe, outdoor events for the whole family and late night programming in the Fringe Club.

Music | Mamma Mia!

On a Greek island paradise where the sun always shines, ABBA’s enchanting, timeless hits propel this beautiful and funny tale of love, friendship, and identity. Sophie is about to be married and is determined to find the father she’s never known, to give her away at the wedding.

Beach | Beach Food Fridays and Saturdays

Starting May 31, 2019, head to the beach in Colwood every Friday & Saturday for lunch or dinner from your favourite local food trucks with free, live, local music from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Entertainment | Live Entertainment @ Q Bar

Come out for Pacific Northwest inspired cocktails and bar bites, while enjoying live music every night of the week, year-round, featuring local singers, songwriters and musicians.

Exhibition | Maya: The Great Jaguar Rises

Visitors will discover a powerful culture that rose in the tropical rainforests of Guatemala thousands of years ago, and learn how science and belief shaped the Maya identity from ancient times to present day.

Boats | Classic Boat Festival

For over 40 years, the Victoria Classic Boat Festival has showcased classic boats from all over the Pacific Northwest each Labour Day Weekend. Each year, approximately 10,000 visitors tour the docks and the boats on display.

Saturday, August 31

Fair | Saanich Fair
