Hornby Island
Whether its kayaking, paddle-boarding, or simply a sight-seeing charter, there are numerous ways to enjoy this fairytale destination. Also, it boasts some of the best diving in the entire world, with everything from large sea lions to colourful fish in these lovely waters. In fact, the Flora Inlet is a rocky reef that is one of the very few places on the planet where divers can swim with six-gill sharks.
Leavenworth
Leavenworth is a mountain-walled, Bavarian town that looks like it belongs in Switzerland more than the USA. Indeed, the picturesque little village is a favourite place to celebrate Maifest, Oktoberfest and Christmas. In addition, the alpine-style buildings along Front Street are complete with restaurants serving German beer and food. What’s more, this incredible destination is only a 4 hour drive from Vancouver in Washington State. Alternatively, once you ferry over from the island, there is also a Greyhound that takes you straight down.
Las Vegas
Dancing, shopping, games, pool parties, delicious food and non-stop entertainment are all part of what makes Las Vegas such an incredible destination. The best way to getaway, a few days is all the time most need in the city of sin to feel fully immersed in the party life. Gabriola Island

Los Angeles

With beautiful beaches, delectable cuisine, and amazing entertainment, Los Angeles makes an ideal getaway. Once you are in California there are a multitude of other tourist destinations to discover. Whistler
Whistler Blackcomb is the largest ski resorts in North America with some of the best terrain in the world. Cowichan Valley
The Cowichan valley is ideal for foodies and wine lovers. Indeed, the area is home to a litany of breathtaking vineyards, which are perfect for wine tours. In Ladysmith, for example, an event called Oysterfest is held every year because the harbour is so rich with shellfish. In addition, the climate is quite warm in this area, making it ideal growing conditions for grapes and other fruits. Most areas are within an hour to two hour drive from Victoria.
Salt Spring Island
Salt Spring Island: the name alone conjures up visions of pristine, untouched wilderness. With a very small population, the island has a quaint, warm feel and will leave you feeling utterly refreshed. There are myriad activities to enjoy including hiking, kayaking, biking, golfing, and swimming. In addition, the small arts community on the island is regarded as one of the best scenes in the country.

Although most round-trip tickets from Victoria to Mexico City hover over $500 CAD, Delta has dropped a great deal of their fares for the fall. So, if you book tickets in advance, your entire return trip will cost roughly $310 CAD including all tax. What’s more, these tickets only include one stop-over, so they don’t involve a great deal of stress.
