It’s official. December 1st marked the beginning of Butchart Gardens’ annual ‘12 Days of Christmas’ light up. We’re pretty fired up about it!
Past years have proven to be real big affairs here in Victoria. We’ve seen french hens, maids a-milking, pipers piping and a plethora of other lyrical characters come to life along the path. Although the gardens are a delight in every season, the added thrill of trying to track down each of the 12 days incorporated into the displays really puts the Christmas visit over the top!
While at the Gardens, you can be sure to find oodles of entertainment. Aside from the gardens themselves, you have the chance to hang out and listen to the brass band and the carolers while sipping a warm drink. You can head on over to the ice skating rink and be Patrick Chan or Daniel Sedin, or if you’re like me, try to stay upright while clinging to the sideboards for balance. You can take a ride on the Rose Carousel in the Children’s Pavilion. At the end of the evening you can snuggle up for a cosy meal in the Blue Poppy Restaurant.
Here is a breakdown of all the pricing:
Admission: $26.60 Adult, $13.30 Youth, $3.00 Child
Ice Skating: $5.00 Adult, $4.00 Youth, $3.00 Child, $3.00 Skate Rental
Carousel: $2.00 Single Ride, $20.00 Punch Pass
Butchart Gardens’ 12 Days of Christmas runs December 1st to January 6th. Don’t miss out!
