Bring your appetite and be prepared to be amazed.
The Victoria Cheese & Meat Festival comes back to Vancouver Island on Saturday, May 12th, 2018. It takes place at the beautiful Crystal Gardens from 11:00 a.m. – 9:30 p.m.
Explore the smells, tastes, and textures of cheese, charcuterie, and accompaniments, while pairing them with wine, cider, beer, mixed drinks.
Moreover, all attendees will be given a small charcuterie board upon entry that will allow for samples to be placed on the board, while vendors describe the item being showcased. Your ticket will also give you a tasting glass.
Tasting times are at 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Two seminars will also be held. They are titled “Salt, Smoke, Cure” (1:45 pm) and “Port and Stinky Cheese” (5:45 pm).
Tickets are on sale now. They range from $35-$145.
