Victoria Sport and Social Club is an incredible organization that promotes community engagement and health. They will be your hub for registration and information regarding league schedules and events.
This organization offers a diverse array of sports you can sign up for as an individual, or as a team. There are four seasons in which you can register. The winter season registration is available as of November 16th, 2016. These infographics indicate which sports are available for which season:

Indoor sports not your schtick? Start planning now for your spring/summer leagues! All outdoor sports are offered at various locations throughout the city, from Gordon Head to Esquimalt.
At the beginning of each season, VSSC puts on a massive social at The Shark Club! Intros, prizes and beer provide the perfect kickoff to the season. When each season ends the club hosts a celebration where all trophies are awarded and teams can revel in their winnings.
