I think we can all agree that there is nothing more satisfying than slurping up an ice-cold treat on a sweltering day. With the incredible weather we’ve been having lately, it is imperative for us to share Victoria’s number one spot to score a sweet treat to beat the heat!

Beacon Drive-In was built in 1958, and has since been the locals’ go-to spot for incredible (and addictive!) ice cream treats and delicious grub. Located just on the outskirts of Beacon Hill Park, the Drive-In is perfectly situated for picnickers, strollers, and ocean viewers alike.

Although the Drive-In has all sorts of eats (hamburgers, corn dogs, poutine and more) what they are truly known for is their ice cream.

You can expect the standard spread; small, medium and large cones with the option of swirl, vanilla, or chocolate dipped. But that’s not all – the flavour burst cones are also out of this world! With flavours like cherry and cotton candy, you can’t go wrong!
